Rose-Colored Glasses

If you look for the bad,
You will always find it.

I’m kicking off the new year wearing rose-colored glasses.
I’m choosing to be optimistic, idealistic, and hopeful.

Because if you look for the GOOD,

You will always find it.

Happy New Year.
Adjust your view, makes your choices, and tend to your own garden. Everything will be coming up roses in 2018.

It only took me about fourteen tries to get a selfie that wasn’t too embarrassing.
Wow! Only fourteen! That’s great!
That’s how to see it.
Rosey.

About Mary Fran Says

I am an artist, crafter, designer and writer. I enjoy working with mixed media-- applying visual and tactile manipulations to telling a story. Not a lot of market for that, though, :), so I'm focusing on short story submissions and novel completions. Yes, plural. Lots of beginnings, too many ideas, not enough focus.

Happy New Year, Mary. I like the new “look”. How does 2018 look through a rosy lens?

Nice picture of you with the rose-colored glasses! 2018 had better be good to me because 2017 was a year of sadness. You mentioned the Eli Stone show is an email, but I never saw it. I guess I wasn’t aware GM was in it because I don’t watch tv. Perhaps I’ll have to see if it’s on Netflix because I just love looking at that man and obviously won’t get anything new, so have to watch the old stuff. (And I do that lots, thanks to youtube.) Have a good 2018 and hopefully will see you sometime this year, love and peace.
