The Days they Pass so Quickly…

The moments may be all about perspective–
time flies when you’re having fun and all that.
Two minutes on a tread mill is equivalent to about two hours of Bunco, right?
But the days– they pass quickly regardless.

It always seems like we’re on the other side of our days.
Outside of the moment, in yesterday or tomorrow, reflecting or planning.

Is time past or passed?

The literal translation of Tempus Fugit is “Time flees.”

Wow, that’s a whole different spin, don’t you think?
Time flies seems so passive by comparison, it’s happening, sure, it happens.
But time flees? It’s so active, so urgent, so now.
So gone.

Time
is subjective.
We all know this. The older we get the faster it goes.
Whether we’re having fun or not.

All I know is that it’s Monday, yet again.
I was just here.
A minute ago, I blogged about ducks!
What happened to my Tuesday through Sunday?!
Next thing I know it’ll be tomorrow.

I mean, it’s been FOREVER and I have still have four weeks more to wait for that grandbaby.

So…a forty week pregnancy is like twelve years of Bunco.
(no wonder I’m so tired)

Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.
~Ferris Bueller

I think I’ll go look around for awhile, see what I’ve missed.
Experience the now. Adjust my perspective. Do my best to impede the flee.
