It’s official, I have submitted the manuscript of School Spirit, Book 3 in the Kimmie Jillison Mystery series, for publication. And let me tell you, I am exhausted.

Final draft editing and print set-up are like many hours . . . days . . . weeks of active labor. Then, with equal parts angst and elation, you hit submit–only to be reminded that it’s false labor. Go home and wait another week for delivery. After all that, chances are high that when your baby arrives you will discover issues and a return to file and formatting will again be required. (This is where I lose the birthing metaphor, lol. Please do not return your newborn for fixin’.)

But, I’m really close.
