I hung out with a friend the other day who apologized for being too “fluffy”. She considered her poise, consideration, and compassion a flaw. WHAT?! I mean, yes, I get it, she does spend more time with each client than her cohorts, allowing them to pontificate and share stories of grandchildren, pets, and favorite TV shows, but considering her career choice of patient care, I kind of think she’s doing it right. Wouldn’t you love to be listened to? Even from a kind stranger?
This “fluffy-ness” carries over into her daily life with friends and family, as well. Wouldn’t you love to be listened to? Especially by a kind companion?
It’s in her honor, and maybe yours, too, that I offer my new mantra,
KEEP CALM and FLUFFY ON.
The world needs more fluffy.
Live this!!
