I was going to title today’s blog, No Post Today, but then I realized if I explained why, that would be a post. So, here goes…

My computer died.
This greatly saddens me.
Yes, some of my files are in the cloud, but most are in a desktop folder titled OCT23 which was supposed to be dragged to my external hard drive except that my computer crapped out completely before I could do that. Hopefully they can be retrieved. For a fee.

I do have (obviously) a laptop, but that is for writing only (this counts) and has no design programs on it. You may be surprised to learn, I do work.

We went to look at new computers. There are display models but NOTHING in stock. And they are kind of expensive. This is not my favorite way to spend money. What do I want? I want my old computer to magically work again. Sure, it’s ten years old, but it probably took me five of those to get familiar with it. Now I have to start all over. Not my favorite way to spend time, either.

So, that’s it. Not really a blog, not really not a blog.
I figure a lot of you have been here and can relate.
We are so tech reliant, when we lose a phone, tablet, or computer, it’s more than an inconvenience, it’s also an emotional loss.

Wish me luck in the replacement department.
Hopefully by next Monday, I’ll be good to go.

Or at least learning how to get good…again.
