1. Buy Pocket Money. 
   From Amazon. Or Kindle. Or even through Barnes & Noble. (I’m on B&N, too!)
   A lot of people say they want to buy it from me directly so I get the money. I understand the logic and appreciate the intent, but really, the impact your retail purchase and subsequent review will have on the success of my book are far greater values than the extra couple of bucks I receive from selling direct.

   If you can’t buy a book, you can request it through your library. It might take a few weeks to get into the system (but it’s worth the wait) and then it’ll be available for the next reader.

2. Write a Review.
   You have NO IDEA how your words of support and excitement about the book make me feel! But neither does anyone else…Please take a minute to leave a review at Amazon, Kindle, B&N, or GoodReads. (I’m on GoodReads, too!)

   “Not too shabby for a debut novel.” “I don’t usually read this genre, but I was pleasantly surprised.” “OMG, I loved it, it’s the best read of the summer!” (Whether it’s your cup of tea or not, a few not unkind words are appreciated.)

3. Tell 2 Friends.
   As I’ve mentioned, it’s all about the numbers. The more page hits I have, the more links that are clicked, the more people who purchase (obviously) the better my Amazon ranking and the chances for additional exposure. So, if you tell two friends, and they tell two friends, and so on and so on…then eventually EVERYONE will have at least checked out my page. And surely bought because the book is so awesome.
4. Take it with you.
   Lots of people traveling this summer…lots of vacation time to read Pocket Money. Seriously, anywhere you’re visiting that’s a flight of five+ hours gives you enough time to read this book cover to cover. Shorter flight with an unexpected delay? Score! Bonus reading time. In a car, but not driving, read on! Late to the theater because you have got to finish this book? It could happen. Sunburned because you were so caught up in the story that you forgot to sunscreen? I am so sorry. Overslept because you were up too late reading? Relax, it’s vacation! Lots of new places to show it off, brag it up, or even leave it behind.
5. Please understand it’s a business.
   I would LOVE to give Pocket Money to everyone I know. And everyone I don’t know. But that’s not how it works.  If I want to be considered a professional, I can’t treat this like a hobby.

Being a published author is a huge step for me and I could not do this professionally without you. They’re only words on a page until someone reads them. I hope everyone will read them.
