Please note, this is NOT a post about losing an hour. That was my favorite hour! And now it’s gone. Just *poof* gone.
This is a post about springing ahead, though. About sloughing off the last vestiges of winter (if winter is a metaphor for the last two years) and breaking through with hope, growth, and renewed spirits.
I’ve seen people lately. Lots of people. Groups of people. People celebrating people!
It’s been glorious. It’s been too long.
It’s good for me.
It’s good for us all.
Familiar faces, happy, glowing, hugging, holding, laughing faces. These exchanges are like that first deep stretch of the morning, the kind where your whole body feels better. The kind that readies you to face a new day.
Yes, there continue to be struggles beyond our reach, but the best thing we can do is control what we can control, and let us do it together.
I heartily conclude this post with, GOOD MORNING, MY FRIENDS.
Good morning, Mary! Although it’s snowing like crazy in Wausau, Wi!
No more snow! You are harshing my mellow, lol. I do hope Spring springs soon for you.
