V is for V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N!

It’s Labor Day! You probably have the day off of work.
Not quite a vacation…but still, no work is no work.
Must be nice. You know, to take a day off.

Writers don’t get days off.
We may be away from the computer, but that doesn’t mean we’re not logging ideas, noticing details, or otherwise planning our next literary adventure.

Check out the rest of The Writer’s Alphabet here.

And Happy Labor Day.

About Mary Fran Says

I am an artist, crafter, designer and writer. I enjoy working with mixed media-- applying visual and tactile manipulations to telling a story. Not a lot of market for that, though, :), so I'm focusing on short story submissions and novel completions. Yes, plural. Lots of beginnings, too many ideas, not enough focus.

Love the post, Mary. Are you home from Ireland yet? Mary Beth Maas

    • I got in last night (Monday, Sept. 3). It was a fabulous trip! Beautiful country. Have you been? I’m exhausted, lol, and leave for my writer’s retreat on Sept. 6–much to catch up on in 2 days!)
